Behind every console of shredded documents are a team of dedicated Pulp shredders. This is how we got to where we are today!

So, what’s our story?

It all began in 2004 when a couple of Irish fellas with just 1 onsite confidential paper shredding vehicle decided to tear a new path in the world of shredding.

We created Pulp, a 100% Irish owned company that has been specialising in confidential paper shredding in Ireland, namely Cork and Dublin for almost 2 decades. Through hard work and happy customers we have grown our fleet to over 10 vehicles.

As we have grown and used our experience in off-site shredding we have determined the safest, most secure method of disposal is onsite shredding.

Meet the faces behind Pulp

David Whelan

Founding Director

The Marketing Man or the Ideas Man. Sports fan especially golf and rugby. Likes nothing more than a long walk in the hills followed by a longer lunch! Tried shredded paper as horse bedding – too dusty!

James McEntee

Founding Director

The “Bean Counter”. Likes gardening and often used some shredded paper as the base for composting! Married with four children & two dogs!

John Young

Founding Director

The Managing Director. Married with 5 children, an international squash player with a passion for GAA and Munster rugby. Involved in coaching of underage teams in both GAA and rugby. Whose motto is “Never take no for an answer”.

Mariusz Rychold

Operations Manager

Enjoys meeting new people and clients, driving and working as part of an exciting team of highly skilled individuals. Loves to spend time gardening, working out at the gym and socialising with family & friends.

Rachel Mooney

Credit Control Manager

Worked in credit control since leaving school and enjoys every aspect. Likes walking, watching football, movies and socialising with friends.

Karl Sheppard

Sales Manager

Former professional soccer player in the League of Ireland, now thriving as a sales manager. Karl’s team is still the most important thing, whether on the field or in the office. Who knew selling could be just as exhilarating as scoring goals? Always striving for the win, no matter the game.
